Bengaluru BBMP Schools to go hi-tech :

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) in association with Microsoft and Tech Avant-Garde launched ‘Project BBMP Roshini’ on 25th September to transform BBMP schools into World class education centers, by implementing MASP-PRO program and Roshini.

All BBMP schools across Bengaluru will be converted to a ‘Connected learning Community’ soon with Microsoft Aspire Student Program that enables learning.  ‘Roshini’ is the social schooling curriculum to enable new levels of learning in the classrooms.

The civic body is covering 32 schools and 14 pre-university colleges that it runs in the city under MASP.

All BBMP schools will have a world-class infrastructure with state of the art technology like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning along with STEM & STEAM (Robotics), Cloud, IoT, and others.  The students of the schools will be made environmentally, culturally and socially adept by learning value based principles.

This project will be supported by Microsoft – Windows, Microsoft office, 0365 for teachers and students, Skype in the classroom, one note, learning Apps on 5C’s, teacher training and certification, students training and devices; Tech Avant – Garde – Training, Implementation and support.

Tech Avant-Garde (TAG) is a technology services organization which focuses on “Product Fostering” which means development, nurturing and promoting of software products.

The program implementation will be monitored by the Governing Council, headed by the Commissioner, and the Management Council, headed by the Special Commissioner (Education).
